Fish soup – Kakavia
Ingredients:
1.5 kg of various fish
3-4 potatoes
2-3 dried onions
2-3 carrots
Celery
Half a glass of water extra virgin olive oil
Juice of 1 or 2 lemons
Salt, thick preferably
Freshly ground pepper
Implementation:
Clean the fish. Boil them in water with coarse salt for about 10-15 minutes. Remove the fish from the pot in a colander. Strain the juice and put it back in the pot. Add the potatoes and onions cut into 4. Add sliced carrots and celery to small pieces. Boil them for about 15-20 minutes. Clean the fish and add them to the broth. Beat the olive oil with the lemon juice and add to soup.
